In July 2026, Ultracargo registered a record turnover at its Rondonópolis terminal in Mato Grosso (MT), with a total of 112.47 thousand m³ received, the greatest monthly volume handled at the unit, 116% above the volume received in the same month of 2025. Compared to the foregoing month of June, the growth was about 10%. This result is in line with the Company’s interiorization and logistic integration strategy.

Mato Grosso is presently the country’s largest ethanol producer, concentrating a relevant part of this expansion of biofuels in Brazil. Corn methanol was responsible for more than 80% of the state’s ethanol production in the 2024/25 crop, according to ETENE/BNB, with data from Conab and ANP. This growth increase reinforces the need for available infrastructure to connect biofuel transport from the Midwest to the main consumer markets in the Southeast.

In such a scenario, Ultracargo has been increasing investments in the corridor between Rondonópolis and Paulínia (SP). At the beginning of 2026, a new siding became operational at the Mato Grosso terminal, a R$ 95 million project, enabling a direct connection with the Paulínia unit, where the Company had already implemented its own siding in 2025, and had also expanded the static storage capacity.

With both corridor ends connected, the rail modal provides better flows between regions, with oil derivatives traveling from Southeast Brazil to Mato Grosso, and biofuels making the opposite route back to São Paulo. This combination reduces deadhead transport and provides more efficiency to a route connecting one of the main biofuel producer regions to major consumer hubs.

The terminal also progressed in the shipment of B100 in July 2026, an operation that complements its performance with biofuels and strengthens its role in Ultracargo’s strategy for the Midwest.
