Ultracargo achieved Proactiv level in its most recent Safety Culture Diagnosis, carried out based on the international Hearts & Minds methodology of the Energy Institute. The result reflects the company’s evolution from 2023 to 2026, with an increase of score from 3.18 to 3.65 in a maturity scale ranging from 1to 5. The assessment was performed with the voluntary participation of more than 300 coworkers from several company business units.
This achievement demonstrates the strengthening of a work culture aimed at risk prevention and anticipation, with greater integration of safety aspects in the operational decisions and increased presence of leaderships in the field. The diagnosis also provided evidence of the progress of an Intervention Culture, which incentivizes coworkers to interrupt their activities whenever unsafe conditions are detected, boosting the collective commitment with the integrity of people and operations.
For Aline Fonseca, Executive SSMA Manager at Ultracargo, the result reflects a consistent evolution in the way the company manages risks and promotes everyday safety. “Safety is part of our culture embedded in the way we operate. We have increasingly evolved to a preventive form of action, anticipating and treating risks before they become real, underpinning the sustainability of our growth,” finishes Aline.
