Ultracargo launched the 6th edition of its Operational Training Program, aimed at recruiting dwellers from nearby communities around its terminals at Santos (SP), Aratu (BA) and Itaqui (MA). A minimum of 30 positions is available (10 for each locality), with focus on preparing Operator profiles.
The free online course will last two and a half months, with lessons during the evening, with beginning foreseen for coming September. To foster participants’ dedication, a R$ 1.000 scholarship will be donated during course duration.
“Our objective is to create real opportunities for people living in the regions where we operate. By investing in professional competence building, we contribute to the strengthening of local employability, while also expanding access to careers in the logistic sector. More than just training professionals for Ultracargo, we want to help by developing talents that can contribute to build successful pathways for the entire productive chain of the region,” highlights Karla Grativol, executive director of Gente, Comunicação e Sustentabilidade (People, Communication and Sustainability) at Ultracargo. Previous editions of the operational training course resulted in an average of 36% of successful students being hired by the company.
