On May 22, Ultracargo held the second edition of the event “Safety: the stop that turns lights on!” assembling employees from all terminals and headquarters for a simultaneous one-hour break to reinforce the company’s commitment to safety – a non-negotiable value of its culture.

This year´s theme was, “CPA: Check, Plan, Act! You in Control, Face to Face with the Risk” that encouraged collective reflection of each person´s role to identify and avert risks at the workplace. Wearing an allusive T-shirt to the event, the teams took part in a special program with leadership representatives on Rules that Save Lives, including themed quizzes, and inspections in operational areas.

One of the highlights of the 2025 edition was the presence of invited customers, who were able to experience firsthand actions taken by Ultracargo aimed at protecting life and building a solid safety culture.

“The event is yet another initiative that highlights Ultracargo´s commitment to protecting life and building an increasingly solid safety culture, based on dialog, awareness and ongoing improvement”, explains Aline Fonseca, executive manager of Safety, Health and Environment (HSE) and concludes: “It is our way of transforming attitudes for protection and valuation of what really matters: the lives of our employees.”
